Kate Smith
She/Her
33 years old
Typical
50 kg
Personality
Stern, appearing rather cold than anything. Often too official and otherwise awkward when met with casual approach. Due to her background, Kate is always on the side of the law, and it may be hard to convince her to believe that the truth may be opposite. Violence is the very last resort she would reach for.
Appearance
Skinny, relatively tall for a woman, reaching 175cm height American. Her blonde locks barely reach her shoulders; dark brown eyes contrast with her pale skin. Her body seems to be in perfect condition but is far from being anyhow muscular - she is fit, but will not handle anything that requires strength. She's always dressed too fancy for the occasion.
Background
Originally from Boston, Massachusetts - Kate spent her childhood and early life in the Beantown. Kate's birth was just yet another thing on her parents' checklist. Being born to the couple of somewhat famous surgeons, she had a lot of expecations to carry on her shoulders since the very young age. Parents of hers were parents just on the paper; she rarely had seen them, her nanny was closer to becoming something of a parental figure to Kate than anything she experienced. Ever since she started talking, she was attending classes and exercises Kate's parents deemed she may need.
She had a relatively easy life, if one may call it so. Everything she needed was there, but there was a price to pay - growing up with no childish joy but instead being taught diligence and perfectionism. It wasn't that she had it in her blood, she was trained to be that way, but Kate wasn't a rebel.
Having perfect grades, she soon was accepted at Harvard - but surprisingly, she did not apply to become a surgeon like her parents were. That was probably the only tiny bit of her teenage "phase", she wanted to become a lawyer. Not because there was patriotic spirit in her, no. It was just about money, really.
During student exchange she met a quirky looking man that smelled like he slept with tabacco under his pillow. And for the first time, Kate learned that there's more to people than their status or perhaps it was just John, she never could tell... She moved over to Louisville, small in comparison to Boston of her youth, but still nevertheless full of opportunities; where she had given birth to a beautiful little son - before returning to work in haste. Business associates couldn't wait!
...Not even after they married, had a child that they struggled to raise with their upbringing differences; with lack of time and communication, it all started falling to pieces. She was frustrated and angry but never could point what angered her so much. And so, being so self absorbed... She sort of ignored all these tell-tales about disappearing people. At that point it was just career and her.
Until William, her son, disappeared. Perhaps it was time to swallow the pride she grew up with - to find her child... And learn to live, but this time like there's no tomorrow.
