Background

Born on November 14, 1925, in Riverside, Kentucky. Nathan was the second and the third child of the family, they never told him and Harold who came first. The farm they lived on was south from Riverside along the Ohio river where they were raised as the family always raised their boys. Everything there was to be known about agriculture and hunting in the local woods was taught to them by his father, many uncles and grandfathers who also were living on the property. It was like a small village at this point. His relationship with his 3 brothers, after William was born 12 years after the twins, was always perfect. They of course had the usual childish fights and arguements but they always managed to make up and get over everything. This perfect bond lasted till 1943 when both his oldest brother Gabriel and his twin brother Harold were enlishted into the army to fight in the second world war. Nathan was disqualified from military service "thanks to" his terrible eyesight and being almost deaf on his left ear. He was left home with his little brother waiting and hoping they both make it. They did make it. Gabriel didnt change from the man he was before, but Harold was a different man. From a talkative and very funny person who loved to be in the middle of attention he turned into and miserable man. The family hoped they could somehow bring him back but the hope quickly faded. He was later sent to a Long-term psychiatric hospital after many attempts of taking his own life. Years went by and the brothers grew up. Gabriel and William got married and moved away. William stayed in Kentucky, while Gabriel moved up north to the Canadian border to be closer to his wife's family. Closest thing Nathan had to his own family was an ex-girlfriend who he had a son with. Nathan tried but his girlfriend never wanted to get married. He stayed with her till his son was old enough to live on his own he left her. He never tried finding love again. The 47 years old man went back the family farm to help his now elderly parents. From the small village there was only his father and mother and William with his wife and children. William fully wanted to break away from the old life they had so he also moved away for California, LA. Nathan watched his loving parents leave this world. None of their kids were around for that only Nathan. In their final will Nathan inherited 1/3 of the family land that he never wanted. He sold it for 450k USD and left Kentucky to explore the rest of the US. This went on for years and years. He himself grew old, but that didnt stop him from seeing the country his brothers risked their lives for. 1993, he got on The Silver Meridian in California after he was done visiting his little brother William and his family. Goal was to reach New York city to get on a cruise ship and finally travel to Europe to see other parts of the world.
