Background After working for some time at a car workshop and saving some money, Shannon and some friends had the idea of traveling and touring the country in her friend’s camper, which they filled with as much weed, food, and alcohol as they could. It was during this trip that rumors began to spread about a new virus or some kind of infection, maybe? They didn’t really care much and continued their journey until they were finally stopped when the outbreak got out of control once they reached New York. There, the group experienced how serious the situation was. The group ended up being caught by the military, who gave them instructions to go to a shelter near the coast until further notice. After some time in the shelter, the friends found themselves with a problem: they were running out of weed and had to hide whatever hadn’t been confiscated yet. After some months, Shannon overheard a conversation on the military radio. There was talk of an island under observation as a possible evacuation zone for civilians, with good conditions for growing food, Braddock Island and that some other shelters had send people there. The group began planning an escape from the shelter to get there, but after trying out some of their plans, they only managed to piss off the military and get threatened. After a whole year since the rumours started and now with no more weed the Shannon was trapped in the routine doing cleaning work in the shelter as a way of earning their daily food since rations had begun to run short and communications had been lost a month ago, even with the new difficulties in the shelter the group did not have the opportunity to leave since the military had orders to maintain the shelter until further notice but that didn't matter anymore when the infected broke into the shelter, causing chaos. The group got separated in the middle of the conflicto and Shannon managed to steal one of the military patrol boats and use it to reach the island thanks to a map she found in the boat storage. Early Life Shannon was born and raised in new mexico having a relative clam and healty life, The relationship with her parents weakened as they did not support his interest in studying arts and his constant consumption of weed near her last year in high school what made her leave the house in search of "a quieter place". She and one friend moved to Florida to start studying arts together and ended sharing a house with other guys with similar interests in “herbs” who showed her the basics of how to grow stuff them while studying, was one of the housemates guys who gave her a chance to work with him, a spanish guy named Gabriel who asked his dad to give her a job at his car workshop there she learned some mechanics and spanish by talking to many of the clients and her new boss.
