Clyde Carrion
He/Him
27 years old
Typical
95 kg
Personality
Clyde in the space of knowing those who are close would not hold him back from cracking jokes, finding any excuse to let his body weight be rested upon something. A laid back personality with a hint of cracking jokes and sharing a drink mostly any chance he could. For those he wouldn’t know so close he would try to hold back any wise cracks back to maintain his professionalism. Sometimes he likes to day dream, maybe to even look in the direction of the sea. Clyde when coming to how with they deal with violence, he would not start it but he would be ready to protect himself.
Appearance
Clyde stands at 6’ tall with a heavy stocky build. He has bottle green eyes, and was born with natural red hair in which he likes to keep the side shaves, and is usually unkempt. He would speak in a noticeable Scottish accent. His posture would always be a little slumped. His skin complexion would have a bit of a more pale side due to living mostly close to the seashore. His hands would be seen of an attempt on what looked like washed grease from his hands that wouldn’t have been cleared away so easily.
Background
Clyde was born on 04/09/1966 to the West of Scotland, growing up with the smell of salt in the air from the ocean. Clyde would have a good relationship with his parents and his parents were happily married for many years. In the early school years, Clyde would be too focused on being the class clown and seeing enjoyment in the other kids' faces to which he would prioritise in making everyone happier that his grades would be disregarded by him. The father seeing Clyde start to continue in this path would be strict to even take Clyde out of school to have him help out in fixing things for the boats and devices that were used as fishing was the parents business. Clyde would see this more enjoyment as it felt like he was contributing more than would school would teach him. Though he was still pushed to do better in school
In the later years of Clyde high school, Clyde would start to see more of his enjoyment in helping his family with their business than he would in school. His subjects that he would prioritise would be metal working and music after he found dusty bagpipes in his home. His dad would see the curiosity in Clyde finding the bagpipes to explain how he was one of the mad men in kilts in Dunkirk, explaining how he used the bagpipes to alert injured near the medical tents while being shot at. This motivated Clyde in his next career path to exit out of school and join the military.
In October 1971, Clyde would quit school to join the military, spending his time training to be less of the class clown to become an obedient soldier. In his time he would be working at the REME. Clyde would do his basic training to find the spot he felt he was made for. He would work his time in the small arms repair, fixing up weapons, ammunition due to his years of experience to fix and to improve himself to make ammunition, gunsmithing and more. Using his fathers stories to motivate him to even to the point Clyde would spend any hours he has free to make what he can for who he can as the stories that were told did not come without horror, to which he obsessed as he doesn’t have a music instrument to call for others to safety…he only has the ammo to make to fight back.
Clyde continued to climb the ranks to Lance Corporal, he would push his teams with sharing the same stories and pushing them to strive the same way he had. In the year 1990, he was deployed to Cyprus to assist with repairing and maintaining the weapons for the Queen’s Regiment. Meeting one of the Privates by the name of Aria Myer he offered company due to the situation they were in they were going to be standing for quite a while. It was quiet at first, professional for the first few that they met, then finding an excuse to need the other for a shoulder to rest on when it was hitting on harder times. The deployment finally came to an end to which Clyde didn’t waste no time in proposing back into safety. They married and found a place of residency for just the two, even coming back to offer help when she would be stationed nearby.
February 1993, The REME unit would be heading to Canada for the BATUS (British Army Training Unit Suffield) While Clyde would be talking to the privates in his unit in the small arms repair station, He would hear the rumours of the current events going on in the world to have a slight worried expression but to keep it remembered. On March the 9th. The world would begin to fill with rifts. The undead would be successful in having the British army be pushed back with how little they were prepared. Bodies were disappearing on that day to which Clyde and wife and unit...those who made it would follow in Sgt.Spiner’s command to leave to which he would follow with no hesitance. The group would continue to stick close and with very little options they had but one option was Ottawa, attempting to reach that destination would unfortunately meet at a dead end due to chaos and undead which resulted in the group to head to the States. Near Fort Knox as they would decide to investigate and set up as a Military institution before moving onto Knox . What Sgt Spiner says, The REME follows.
