Background
Amy grew up in Tallulah Falls, Georgia. Growing up with a religous family, they always strived to be a devote christian woman. During middle school into high school, she would go to church camps, volenteer their time in soup kitchens for poor areas, and in their volenteer work, they made friends. They were also involved in whatever club they could get their hands on- track, art classes, cheerleading, key clubs, 4-H fairs. A lot of people see Amys personality as bubbly to a fault, but the friends she would make would last her to her young adult years.
During senor year of highschool, she would take a trip to chicago one day to tour the art museums and colleges there, preparing for her future, meeting a man around her age by the name Ed Stake. They hit it off, speaking to eachother by telephone, starting a romantic relationship soon after. Her family was not supportive of this, but Amy cared about her new new odd penpal, and soon Ed would break the distance, going to Tallulah Falls to be closer to her. However, when her family saw him, they refused to let amy be anywhere near him. Ed would secretly see Amy, announcing his love for her. Amy knew that she cared for him, so she ended up eloping and marrying Ed soon after. It was one of the hardest decisions Amy would ever make, but she thought at the time that Ed was her 'one'. She would soon find out after that she was pregnant, and after 9 months had their only child, their son Davey Stake.
Life was simple after that for Amy. She was a stay at home mom, a housewife, briefly getting into selling tupperware as a pyramid scheme, her bubbly personality being the 'selling point' in most of what she sold. She also started getting into woodworking, having her go to community college classes in woodworking/carpentry in order to build things from chairs to small toys for their son. Ed was always grumpy coming home, but Amy would have food on the table and a peck on the cheek for him. It was, for lack of a better term, a trad-wife lifestyle. Ed may not have made enough money to be out of middle class, but he always provided for her and their son. Life was good.
When the daisies began popping up, Amy thought they were beautiful, much to Eds dismay. "Oh stop, hun, They are harmless!~" She would say in her sweet southern drawl. However, as it got worse, they both decided to stay away from them, not letting Davey play in them. Then the pollon began, making people sickly. Amy would do everything to keep the house quarentined. They started by staying inside, not letting Davey play outside, stocking up and staying indoors, hearing the news report people passing from it. Then the news stopped, and they had no choice but to cover up, becoming survivors and nomads.
They would travel with neighbors, heading one direction and nomading with people that came and left, either from sickness or just going on their own. Amy and her family went Nomad, trying their best to survive. They would avoid what people called 'Deadzones', Ed taking a leadership role in their small traveling survivor group. Ed would be obsessed with getting to Quarinten areas, leading to the death of many people in the attempt to get to these places, including the death of Amys son Davey. This changed Amy, her mind being obsessed with the child she lost, almost going into herself, being lost in those moments of not being able to save him, resenting Ed for killing their son. But Ed was willing to do what it took to survive, even monstrous things. After years of traveling, hardship after hardship, and Ed passing on from the pollon as well, Amy roamed on her own, slowly being effected by extreme isolation. However if you happen to run into her out there in that fast pollon-filled land, you wouldnt guess she went through it all just the same! Still greeting you as if she's known you her whole life, and ending it in a 'God loves you~'
