Personality
Mac values loyalty over anything else. He won't speak out of turn but has no problem chatting when it's about something that truly interests him. He enjoys listening and approaching life as a glass half full mentality. He enjoys riling people up and seeing what kind of response he can get out of someone. He will concede any argument with a laugh or chuckle to show his playful and sarcastic nature.
When things seem to be bleak, he is the first person to crack a joke about the situation which gets him into some trouble with his sarcastic sense of humor.
He enjoys listening to music and tinkering with anything he can take apart and put back together and always seems to compare situations to sports, making references that leave people scratching their heads.
He has a thick southern accent, more specifically a Texan one. He is a critical thinker and will answer questions with deep quotes he seems to pull out of thin air.
He has a charm about him with his stoic nature. He will pull a quote fitting the circumstance seemingly out of no where with his southern roots written all over it.

Background
"I had a purpose before anyone had an opinion"
Mac was born April 20th, 1963, in a small town outside Houston, Texas. His father worked for an oil company and his mother stayed home to take care of the kids. He had 1 younger brother. Growing up, Mac was a troublemaker. The only thing that kept his grades up was his love for playing baseball and his father's alcoholic rage. He got into a lot of fights growing up, usually trying to protect and stand up for his brother. He has a soft spot for the boy he could always get to go throw the ball around in the backyard.
In high school he was arrested and charged with battery as a minor and was expelled from school, which means any dreams of playing baseball were dashed.
July 1979
As a drop out, he eventually started hanging around the bar where a local biker gang made it their HQ.
That's where he met "Jessie".
Jessie ran the club and took a shine to the young troublemaker after Mac decided to drink a liter of vodka and try and fight the local's playing billiards. Jessie pulled him into the back room and stomped him out. The next day, Mac awoke in his shop where he tinkered with his bike. Mac decided to make amends by helping Jessie repair his engine. After taking it apart and putting it back together with ease, Jessie saw his potential. He brought him into their crew as the set mechanic.
Mac was thrilled to be a part of something. He finally could go home and tell his father he got a job and as a mechanic like his old man at the oil company. He worked on bikes and did whatever he was told. He volunteered on any "Extracurricular" Activities the crew had planned, but Jessie wouldn't let him. "You're a good kid, let us do the dirty work," Jessie said. He didn't like it, but he listened to it.
August 1985
Mac was busy with his new family. He earned his kutte then earned his 1% patch and even earned enough to open his own shop. He worked on bikes mostly, but over the years the gang started moving massive amounts of heroin and meth from Mexico through Texas. He started building stash boxes for trucks they stole and flipped to move the drugs out of Texas. He was at his shop welding when the garage door swung open. By the time he got his welding mask off, all he heard was "FBI! DONT MOVE" with a gun to his head. They raided all club homes, businesses, and the "jig" was up.
January 1986
Mac was sentenced to 2 years in prison for "Unknowingly" aiding the group. Jessie was sentenced to life with no parole. His father figure was gone, and his club disbanded behind bars. While in prison Mac worked for the state making license plates which was familiar territory. He would tell his fellow inmates “The lord made us all out of iron. Then he turns up the heat to forge us into steel”. He served his 2 year sentence and went back to his shop or what was left of it. His brother picked him up from jail and drove him back. On the way mac shuffled through any reading material. He found a west coast choppers magazine and was blown away by how popular and mainstream bikers has become. He saw a business opportunity.
May 1992
After bringing his brother into the business with him Mac made a steady living for himself. The amount of money in this industry kept flowing as popularity rose in the mainstream conscious. His shop had been featured and with that came a lot of opportunity. He got a phone call he wouldn’t ever forget. His father called him and to come to the hospital on the other side of town. “There was an accident.” His brother didn’t make it. All he said to his grieving mother and father was “There is a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in.”
January 1993
After losing his brother Mac sold his shop and decided he needed to get away from everything that reminded him of his past. He saw a news story on bike shops starting up around Louisville and saw an opportunity and took it. Moving there with a decent lump sum in his bank account and a dirty kutte in his closet as his only reminder of where he’s been and what has happened.
March 1993
“Sometimes you don’t need explanations, It is what it is.”
After months of silly unexplained phenomena news stories with little to no evidence the rifts began to open. Mac lived alone on the outside of Louisville but he could hear the rifts tear the world apart. He saw neighbors disappear and reappear different. Hungry. He put on his kutte and decided to flee. Driving through the city he came across a police barricade on the road that stopped him. They told him about the shelter in the underground mall that has been contained. With so much chaos and uncertainty he decided to ride to the mall and seek shelter.
