Personality
Pinchu is a reserved and reserved personality who doesn't like to socialize and prefers to devote himself to practical work. She trusts few people, but trusts them even more and seems obviously unhappy about her loneliness. She always meets new people with suspicion and a touch of paranoid since the outbreak of the pandemic in which the established society fell apart and she was torn away from her family.
She loves useful, manual work, vehicles and metalwork. In her free time, she likes to hang out in front of the TV or game console, but since the pandemic, she has focused on fishing since there is no electricity anymore. She is prone to theft and stinginess and usually does not lend out her property. In contrast to her parents, she always had problems getting along with the island's residents and lived mostly in seclusion while her father maintained contact with the outside world. During the chaos of the pandemic, the young woman had to increasingly open up and approach strangers, always deciding whether their intentions were good or bad, and her suspicious nature grew. She's a bit more confident now, having learned some combat skills and a lot about what's really important in the new chaotic world, like caring for her familiars.
Because of her past in poverty, she has an understanding of the systems of criminal structures and how best to avoid trouble with these people or even do business with them. Through working with her father, she has learned enough about how to behave in business that many new contacts with her are best started through business channels in order to reduce her mistrust. Pinchu has little connection to animals apart from fish; she wouldn't keep any pets herself and would always question their use, but she trusts all the more in solid structures that promise safety, such as well-fortified accommodation. Today there are only a few things that please them, and this need can be quickly satisfied with a little thoughtful attention.
Appearance
The young woman in front of you appears very slim, almost malnourished, with a tired face watching you with very careful eyes. The dark brown eyes nervously monitor her surroundings and pay attention to any changes that could mean potential danger, so the woman never seems to be completely calm. Her black hair is mostly half-length and quite wild, apparently she rarely finds the opportunity for proper care or doesn't think it's important, she prefers to wear a braid to work. In a similar way, choosing your clothing is very simple and designed for long-term use, only work clothing has an additional value and you always have a few pockets with you that are filled with all sorts of things. Her skin is light and there is a long scar on her neck that is somewhat older and apparently comes from a large knife. Her movements seem agile even though the young woman herself doesn't seem to be strong. Overall, it seems a bit unkempt and seems to focus exclusively on practical details.
Notable Skills
Pinchu has learned most of her time from her father and knows a lot about the technology and mechanics of various motor vehicles that can be found on the island. She is always curious and constantly tries to expand or improve vehicles, never shying away from experimental tests. When the chaos of the pandemic began, her improvisational talents became particularly valuable. It wasn't until the pandemic that she learned some basics about combat and how to move as unseen as possible. She also learned how to break into buildings and get as much useful loot as possible in a short time. In addition to working with metal and vehicles, she started learning to fish and practicing patience, although she always left the cooking to other people because she didn't have a knack for it herself. She still has the need to avoid conflicts and to have as few conversations as possible that go beyond business matters. However, she prefers to drive around, whether on the road or off-road.
Background
Pinchu's family is from San Francisco, her father and mother are both mechanics and lifes with her siblings (2 older brothers) in poor circumstances, until her family left the city when she was 6 years old.
Previously, there were problems with some Japanese criminal clans who made demands on the family after they offered the family financial support to start a business. However, her father did not plan to set up his company under the control of the clan, so the family fled across the country to New York, as far away as possible. The clan persecuted the family for several weeks and threatened retaliation for the theft of the money, not shying away from physical attacks. During one of the attacks, young Pinchu was seriously injured by a cut on her neck, but survived with the help of some citizens with whom the family found shelter for a short time.
It took them a year to drive across the country, losing a lot of money to keep their vehicle running and to afford changing accommodations, but when the family wanted to open the company there, they were threatened by the Chinese mafia and and they had to flee again after a failed attempt by her father to steal some tools and materials.
Frustrated by the constant failure of their own plans, the parents decided to try their luck again far away from the megacities. Remotely on Braddock Island they reopened their motor vehicle workshop, this time there were no problems and Pinchu was able to grow up on the island, attend school and learn her father's trade.
The family has settled in and established itself well on the island, there are friendships with the neighbors and no trouble with gangsters or the government.
After the arduous journey, their father had become more cautious and began to integrate his children more and more into everyday work, which ultimately ensured that the Pinchus brothers left the island as soon as they were old enough. Pinchu's relationship with them was usually difficult because they were prone to violence and theft from an early age, but they always helped her with problems with other people or children, so that their home always offered a feeling of security. She doesn't know where they went and they never called back, which leaves her and her parents worried.
Her father has changed since the escape, going from a hopeful person to a suspicious person and increasingly pushing Pinchu to take over the business after her brothers left the island. The relationship between the two became increasingly cool, but she tried to live up to the demands despite the high demands. The relationship with her mother had improved significantly after she was the last child in the house, so she learned from her what was necessary for the household and the busisness.
Her performance at school was mostly mediocre because she spent most of her time working, which meant she had few friends or hobbies.
She is currently still working in the family business and has been able to deepen her knowledge over the years, primarily taking care of the manual aspects, while secretly dreaming of prosperity and having her own family, perhaps after selling the company when the time comes, as well a sports car with a cool paint job!
She also dreamed of improving her relationship with her father and becoming the best mechanic on the island and of one day being able to reconnect with her siblings so that they could possibly have a safer and better life on the island.
When the pandemic began, the family tried to flee the island, which was sealed off by the government, so they were forced to return and prepare for the emerging problems. The workshop hardly had any customers anymore and they tried to offer components and fuel for boats to everyone who wanted to escape the island. This business was quickly stopped by the government and Pinchu's parents were imprisoned. When the horrors of the infection also attack her home, she is forced to leave the place and hide in order to survive the first weeks of the pandemic in secret. After a few weeks, when her supplies were exhausted, she ventured back to the surface to fend for herself.
Her hometown was devastated and deserted by the massive unrest and looting. It was difficult to find supplies as other people now seemed like a threat next to the lifeless revenants that could hide behind every corner. Only after a few days was she able to join some survivors who were trying to build a small settlement in the forest, including many former residents of her hometown. However, as the pandemic claimed more and more victims, it became increasingly difficult to hold the settlement and they began building defenses and collecting weapons. However, the virus also got into this safe fortress and all survivors fled their new home back to the devastated cities and neglected areas.
Pinchu had learned a lot about fighting and managing a camp in the settlement and is now trying to find reliable allies on the island again while driving around.
