Background
In an ever-growing civilization where technology makes a breakthrough and life becomes concerningly difficult, Earle Conti emerges.
Born in the 60's Downtown, New York. Inside of Lower Manhattan. Conti grew up in a place where business reigned supreme and poverty continues to reek in the struggling suburbs hidden behind the golden road of Wall Street. Nothing was ever truly safe in the streets of New York. As Conti grew older, so is his passion. As a kid, he used to love and adore watching movies with his family but the one that caught his very eyes were the ones that represents the law. Cops and Enforcers that sworn to serve and protect the masses. This is what Conti stood up for and inspired to be. Knowing the growing issue in New York, especially where cops no longer cared nor mattered. He wanted to believe, to become part of the law and to protect those who couldn't. He wanted change.
By the time Conti went to school, he had studied well and hard in order to achieve his goal. His family was never the fortunate, thus there were times of struggle and Conti went on to do simple jobs to support not only himself but his family. It was no easy task for him to do many things at once but he managed to finally achieve his goal by completing his college and picking up a couple of bachelor's degree, from criminology to law.
After all his effort, Conti applied to the academy and was selected to be one of the people to undergo it's training and examination for law enforcement. He was one step closer to fulfilling his dream. After grueling weeks of training, Conti has finally achieved and finished the training with high marks. Though the cold reality struck him when the results came and he was not chosen to walk and patrol the streets of New York, instead, he was recruited by the government to work as their office clerk. It was not something Conti ever expected in his life. This was the time, he felt the miserable life and the complete rotten form of New York's justice system and it's very corruption.
Stuck and miserable, Conti spent years working on papers and people as his 'public service' and has slowly drained him from any sort of happiness as time passed. Though, the government can't deny. Despite how much Conti disliked this, he ends up becoming relevant to the department for being able to sort out his tasks quick and convenient. After a couple of years within the government's office. Someone has managed to pick up his achievements and skills, in the time of need. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has picked up Conti to work under them in the Los Angeles' Field Office under Transnational Organized Crime. Though as excited as he is, only to realize that he was not utilized fairly in the department. Still stuck in paperwork and cubicles, making him a lot more miserable than ever. Though there were instances that he was picked up to do an investigation for the team.
The first time Conti came down to the investigation team was something he never thought he'd experience in a legitimate work, but with this, became his first, and successful gig. Though the second one would be his last within the FBI. Tasked to investigate the crime scene, paired with a partner. He soon realized that most of the information was wrong which ended in a chaos that took a toll on his reputation. A month after this incident was the Department's layoff. To save costs and take out all the unnecessary, Conti was chosen as the first few to be fired. Though the deed was harsh and unjust, he was more so prepared for it. Though his director didn't want him to get off easy, thus... He decided to transfer him to an even worse situation.
Here comes, E.C.H.O. As the department needed more people, Conti in some sense was a person that ECHO needed. His skills and his wits was something they were looking for. Thrown into the meat grinder of the unknown. Conti, now working for ECHO has been stuck to do the same thing in an even worse conditions. Odd jobs and tasks that no longer resembles what the government ever stood for. Though around 1993, His director came up to the crew to announce that they'll be moving out of the LA Branch and transfer to Knox, but not before announcing the sponsors to them that only a few of the members would be chosen to join and help inspect and assist the new building. By sheer chance or misfortune, he was one of the lucky ones, chosen to hop in the cruise. Though unoptimistic in reality, knowing this isn't a cruise but a job that needs to be done. He prepares himself to set course to a place unknown.
